TO EX 1970 2020 COMMITTED O ECELLINCE MMITTED H. A Fifty Year Celebration CAR BAS PURIC To the Class of 2020, Every graduating class will ultimately be faced with hardship, sorrow and success during their lifetimes. This year, your senior year, has been one that has included all of these emotions in just the last few months. You have been deprived of many of the activities that you will reflect on as you go through life and think back to your senior year. This small inconvenience will not define you, nor should it distract you. It is just a mere moment in a lifetime of many seconds you will soon experience. Fifty years ago, the class of 1970 walked across the stage behind the old East Haven High School on Tyler Street. The times were different, yet in many ways they were the same. We faced a world of confusion, anger and dissention that had more questions than had answers. Yet, fifty years have passed and we are here to offer you our hope that you too will also be able to say to the class of 2070, "Well done, now go make your life" You are East Haven's pride, you are East Haven Strong and you must now build on the foundation set by all who came before. We fervently wish you, the class of 2020, the best and hope your dreams and wishes come true.
