About
Supporting Local Growers.
At Eight Mile Meadow, we believe in bringing you fresh breads and pastas made from locally sourced ingredients. Throughout the Northeast, farmers, millers, brewers and bakers are rebuilding our local grain economy by using sustainable farming practices, stone-grinding grains, and brewing and baking on a smaller scale. We are learning about our land, the grains that will grow, and how these grains can be used to create more nutritious and flavorful goods. From the first seeds planted in the soil to the loaf of bread or plate of pasta on your table, the food you eat is a conversation with the growers and producers that make that food possible. Stop in and say hi - we look forward to sharing a conversation with you!
