We all need some light right now, so I joined forces with the Chester Merchants Assoc. and some friends to create a magical star lit, public art extravaganza, consisting of 152 wooden stars wrapped in twinkling light. Each hand-crafted star of varying sizes has been hung throughout the town as part of Chester's Main Street Starry Night holiday celebrations. But it's also a personal labor of love, an installation dedicated to my Mom, Patricia, who sadly is losing her own light to Alzheimers. Struggles seem to be everywhere now, so let's replace them with joyful stars. Come out and celebrate our local businesses, enjoy the starry display, and grab your own star in support.
